The heart of any Club comes from its Members. Here at Eagle Bend we are very fortunate to have such a great group of Ladies who love the game of golf and the relationships that are created from the game.

Good  Luck  on  the  Course!

We have two groups of active golfers that will accommodate all levels of players.  Our 18 hole group plays on Tuesdays and generally accommodates players with an established handicap and have a general knowledge of golf rules and  want to play 18 holes.  Our 9 hole group play on Thursdays and this is an excellent place to begin golfing, or join with friends who no longer wish to play 18 holes.  Sign up sheets are posted at the Club for both of these groups.  For information contact our Membership Chair, Liz Hansen, 837-3088.  We have a monthly meeting following golf on the second Tuesday of the month.

A group of EBLGA gals are playing the GOLD tees on Thursday mornings.  We have 3 tee times starting at 9:08.  Sign-up sheets are on the bulletin board & will be picked up after Tuesday golf.  Anyone is welcome but it will be limited to first 12 who sign-up.  Any cancellations should be called to Joan Cummings at 837-3140.

August 28 & 29

OVERALL LOW GROSS & EBLGA Champion--Vicki Hammer-158; OVERALL LOW NET, Linda Cloutier-130; SENIOR LOW GROSS, Barb Lacy-144; SENIOR LOW NET, Faye Hicks-141.

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT:  Low Gross, Vicki Hammer-158; Low Net, Nina Anderson-137;2nd  Low Net Tie, Karen Wilmouth & Judy Kay Wilks-143.

SECOND FLIGHT:  Low Gross, Linda Cloutier-178; Low Net, Kathie Chesnos-137; 2nd Low Net, Joyce Kammerzell-141; 3rd Low Net, Joan Cummings, 142.

THIRD FLIGHT: Low Gross, Linda Holland-192; Low Net, Ceci Berman-137; 2nd Low Net, Lynda Burns-142; 3rd Low Net, Andrea Palmer-145.

FOURTH FLIGHT: Low Gross, Faye Hicks-207; Low Net, Lin Sultzer-142; 2nd Low Net Tie, Jean Anderson & Char McCahill- 147.

Some members participated in Invitationals at Whitefish, Ronan, Missoula and King Ranch. There were winners from Eagle Bend at each, Fay Hicks (first Gross in flight and Long drive)  at Ronan, several at Whitefish (I lost my list) and the girls who went to Missoula and King Ranch cleaned up!  Karen Wilmouth was the big winner clinching Low Gross at both.  Joan Cummings won long drive at Missoula, and at King Ranch  Grace Farrington was Low Net in the 1st flight, Joan Cummings was Low Gross in the 2nd flight as well as long putt and long drive, and Nancy Idler won closest to the pin.  Congratulations at all.
